We would like to introduce ourselves as a new and up coming Non IATA travel agency having set up our office in Hyderabad recently. We have taken a conscious decision to operate as a Non IATA agency there by reducing our over heads, avoid unnecessary paraphernalia such as costly offices and to enjoy the freedom of offering discounted prices to our esteemed clients etc.
We are initially aiming at passengers traveling to and from Hyderabad and in due course of time shall expand our operations to the other cities also. We have equiped ourselves with a SKYPE telephone and are in touch with our customers on internet / messenger with voice.
We are presently operating on cash & carry basis. In this we shop around for your requirement with all the major travel agents and bargain for the best price. As we are operating on cash basis, we can go to any agency offering the maximum discount on that date and strike a reasonably well discounted and good price. Naturally, we expect our customers also to settle with us immediately on delivery.
The idea of the business model is not only to build turnovers but also to build up a large number of highly satisfied customer base which will ultimately lead to huge turnovers. With this in mind, we are proposing to inform you the actual amount that we pay on your behalf and add a service charge for our services, instead of giving you discounts from the gross fares etc, with out disclosing the actual amount of charge. In this way the customer will ultimately be paying less even after adding the service charges to us.
The service charges leviable by us also varies depending on the service opted. For example, in exchange transactions where the discount to you will be in the range of about only 2 to 3 % on the normal market rates, our charges will be only 1%, there by the customer gets benefited. Likewise, in international air ticketing, where the discounts range from 4 to 8%, we are intending to charge 3% as our service charges there by ensuring the customer still will be getting the maximum possible discount.
In domestic tickets, we shall be charging only a nominal or nil service charges, depending on the air line. For insurance policies also, we are dealing with very senior level people of the 'broker' category and after paying our service charges of 3% also, the customer is expected to have substantial savings, by way of discounts. Same is the case with 'tours' where we can get discounts varying from 5 to 10% on the announced prices from the organizers, where as we will only be charging you 3%. However, in the case of 'visa processing' we will be taking a fixed service charge of as little as Rs. 500/- per visa, depending on the case.
